The term of delivery is a target term, which can be deviated from. The right to delivery arises for you, as a customer, from the moment your order at Meet Jack is accepted by Meet Jack and confirmed to you electronically. Meet Jack always has the right to refuse an order, for example for reasons of lack of - temporary - quantity.
If the target term is exceeded by more than one week, you have the right to cancel the order electronically (by email). Other reasons for canceling an order do not belong to you, as a customer. A late delivery or a cancellation of the delivery (by anyone) does not give rise to any right to compensation.
Delivery of the order may not be done by Meet Jack. For this reason and others Meet Jack requests that you check the quantity and quality of the delivery immediately upon receipt. If something is not right, you must notify Meet Jack electronically (by e-mail) within 1 day, after which supplement and / or replacement will be taken care of, without any right to compensation or cancellation. After this day, Meet Jack assumes that everything is in order (= expiry date). Immediately after receipt of the delivery, the risk is transferred to you (= risk transfer). You are obliged to receive the purchased products immediately upon delivery.
The products are all delivered frozen. You are aware that Meet Jack products are perishable when they are left out of the freezer and / or left in the freezer for too long. After delivery, the products can be kept and used for a maximum of twelve months, but the label is leading in this. Just like other perishables, you check the products again before serving them to your customers. You must ensure that products with a best-before date are no longer processed or sold after the expiry of those dates.
Information concerning the goods sold, such as properties, quality, color, etc., and information in printed matter, drawings, images, samples, etc., provided by Meet Jack with the offer, will be provided to the best of its knowledge and with the greatest care, but will never be considered as can be considered binding.
In the event of recall actions initiated by (suppliers of) Meet Jack in connection with product defects due to manufacturing or packaging, you must deal with the products concerned in accordance with the recall procedure announced by Meet Jack in those cases.
Meet Jack only accepts the legal obligation to pay compensation if and insofar as you as a customer prove that the damage was caused by serious negligence on the part of Meet Jack. The resulting liability for damage is expressly limited to the amount of the order that resulted in damage.
Any further liability on the part of Meet Jack for damage, including but not limited to liability for employees and auxiliary persons, is excluded, for whatever reason, including all direct and indirect damage, such as consequential damage or trading loss.
